Your privacy is a top concerns. Below are data we collect and how we handle them.
Sawside only requires a nickname to identify you. Nicknames are not unique (as in the real-world). This means there's no way of tying you to an account — keeping you almost anonymous.
An avatar is optional. However, you consent that uploading an avatar will make your photo available to other peers.
GPS location is critical to finding people around your vicinity.
Text messages are saved temporarily on our servers and deleted immediately it's received by a peer. Meaning, messages are only stored each party's devices permanently (until app is uninstalled).
Images are saved on our servers to make them available anytime.
